LOCKEROOM MEMBER APP
Support
Privacy policy, account deletion, and support for the Lockeroom member app on Android and iOS.
Privacy policy
This policy explains how Lockeroom Gym collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Lockeroom member app. It is designed to match what the app actually does today.
Who we are
Lockeroom Gym operates coaching gyms in Australia. For app privacy matters, contact assist@lockeroomgym.com.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the app, we may collect:
- Account and access: email address, authentication credentials (managed through Supabase Auth), and your link to your Lockeroom membership record.
- Profile and membership details: name, preferred email, profile photo, company and industry fields, networking preferences, and other profile fields you or your coach maintain.
- Coaching and gym operations data: training programs, bookings, event RSVPs, session attendance, coach notes, and assessment records created as part of your membership (for example InBody scans, physical assessments, and VO₂ results).
-
Health and fitness information (optional): only when
you connect a supported source or when gym assessments are recorded
for your coaching program. This can include:
- Activity: daily steps, cardio workout name/date/duration, distance, and average heart rate for a workout session.
- Nutrition: calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat from connected nutrition providers or coach-set targets.
- Body composition: weight and body-fat history from connected providers and/or gym assessments.
- Support requests: if you use the form on this page, we collect your name, email, message, and any optional device or app version details you provide.
- Device security preference: if you enable biometric unlock, your device handles Face ID, Touch ID, or equivalent authentication locally. Lockeroom does not receive or store your biometric data.
How we collect health and fitness data
Health and fitness data is collected only through these paths:
- Gym assessments and coaching records entered or managed by Lockeroom staff for your membership.
- Connected providers you choose in the app through our integration partner Terra (for example Garmin, Withings, Fitbit, Concept2, or Cronometer) using each provider's authorisation flow.
- Apple Health on iOS only when you connect Apple Health from the Lockeroom iOS app and grant the permissions shown in the Apple Health permission sheet.
Android note: the current Lockeroom Android app does not access Android Health Connect or read health data directly from your device's Health Connect storage. On Android, health and fitness information shown in the app comes from your Lockeroom membership records and from cloud providers you connect through Terra's hosted sign-in flow.
Connecting wearables or nutrition sources is optional. If you do not connect a source, we do not collect health data from that source.
How we use your information
We use information to:
- provide sign-in, membership access, and app functionality;
- display your training, bookings, progress, and connected health data in the app;
- support coaching, programming, nutrition guidance, and member support;
- respond to support and account-deletion requests; and
- maintain security, troubleshoot issues, and meet legal or compliance obligations.
Lockeroom is a gym coaching and progress app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. We do not use your health data for insurance eligibility, employment screening, credit decisions, or advertising profiles.
Who can see your information
- You through the member app for your own account.
- Lockeroom coaches and authorised gym staff who need access to deliver coaching, programming, bookings, and member support.
- Service providers that help us run the app, under contractual safeguards. This includes Supabase (authentication and database hosting) and Terra (wearable and nutrition integrations).
- Connected providers you authorise when you start a connection flow in the app (for example Garmin or Cronometer).
We do not sell your personal information or health and fitness information.
What we do not collect through the app
Unless a future app version explicitly asks for your permission and updates this policy, the Lockeroom member app does not use Android Health Connect and does not provide dedicated features for:
- menstruation or reproductive-health tracking;
- sleep tracking as a standalone product feature;
- clinical vitals such as blood glucose, blood pressure, oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, or body temperature from device sensors; or
- continuous location tracking from your phone.
A connected third-party provider may send broader raw sync payloads to our backend for troubleshooting and audit. We only normalise and display the health fields used by current app features.
Storage, security, and retention
- App data is stored in Lockeroom's Supabase-hosted database with access controls and row-level security for member accounts.
-
Support form submissions are stored in
ma_support_requestsso our team can respond. - Wearable sync records may be retained in raw form for audit and reprocessing, in addition to the normalised health tables shown in the app.
- We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. See account deletion for how to request removal of app-account data.
Your choices and rights
- You can disconnect wearable or nutrition integrations in the app.
- On iOS, you can change Apple Health permissions in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Lockeroom.
- You can request deletion of your app account using the process below.
- You can email us to ask what data we hold or to request correction of inaccurate app profile information.
Children
The Lockeroom member app is intended for Lockeroom members and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16 through the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when app features or legal requirements change. We will update the effective date at the top of this page. Material changes that affect health-data use will be reflected here before or when a new app version is released.
